Bridget Whiting

My name is Bridget Whiting.

My home is on the coast of California,

midway between San Francisco and Los Angeles. 

 

Growing up, I was encouraged to explore and have fun through imagination and creativity. Always a curious mind,  there are lots of things that I love and wanted to be when

I became an adult.

 

But during my teen years, I had two injuries to my back, both turned out to be more serious than first thought. An MRI scan revealed permanent damage and degeneration throughout my spine. A side effect of all this, is daily irritation to my nerves

on the right side of my body. Being right-handed, that was a real bummer.

 

For a long time I was in intense pain, needed lots of help,

and had to give up art for a long time. 

I promised myself, if I could feel better despite living with these problems,

I would go after my dreams with everything I've got. 

And here we are...

My back, neck, and arm continues to be a daily challenge, but I've finally reached the point where I can start making my dreams come true. While I can't do most of the things I used too, I'm grateful for what I can do, it just takes me longer.

I'm so glad I can create artwork again, and now

I'm selling my originals on an array of items at

Redbubble and Etsy!
